Below you will find answers to frequently asked questions about domestic and international relocations
HOW DO I ORDER A RELOCATION AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
It's easy. It is best to send an email to info@gregortransport.nl or use the form at the bottom of the page where you provide the following basic information:
– where from and where to are you moving?
– what date are you currently considering?
– what is going to be moved (number of boxes, bags, furniture, bicycles, etc.) and what is its estimated weight
– You can also e-mail photos, which greatly simplifies the quotation
WHICH REGIONS ARE SERVED?
We pick up your items anywhere in the Netherlands and deliver them anywhere in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium or Poland. The seat of the office is less important for international or domestic transport. Each quote includes a vehicle that will not be additionally added to the final price.
HOW CAN I PACK MY GOODS?
The choice of packaging depends entirely on your wishes. You can pack your belongings in cardboard boxes, bags or plastic boxes, etc.
Larger objects such as refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers or furniture should be protected with stretch film. In addition, the driver secures all items in the truck with conveyor belts.
DO YOU USE COURIER COMPANIES?
Absolutely not, we provide our services in the "door-to-door" system.
DO YOU ALSO DELIVER MOVING BOXES?
No, packing private property in cardboard boxes is the responsibility of the customer, hence the decision to no longer supply cardboard boxes.
Cardboard boxes for transporting private property are currently available in every major retail chain.
WHAT ROUTES ARE OFFERED FOR RELOCATIONS?
Relocations with Gregor Transport mainly take place in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. We pick up items from any designated place and deliver them to the given address.
CAN YOU LOAD THE ITEMS YOURSELF?
Yes, we offer 2 options for organizing the relocation: you can order just the transport with the possible help of the driver for carrying of items or you can order the transport with loading and unloading included.
CAN I LOAD AND UNLOAD THE GOODS MYSELF?
Yes, of course this is possible and for a small extra charge the driver can help with carrying. It is the most chosen option by customers, especially when moving abroad - this significantly reduces costs compared to Option 2.
CAN I SEND A SMALL QUANTITY OF ITEMS LATER?
Yes, we also take top-up orders at a significantly lower cost. However, this option does not apply to every route, you must ask for its availability by phone or email.
DO I HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT FOR TRANSPORT?
Yes, we sign a contract by email. In that case, a prepayment or deposit is required.
IS TRANSPORT INSURED?
Gregor Transport has appropriate insurance up to an amount of € 50,000 per event. In the event that the insurer refuses to pay compensation, you have the right to make claims directly with our company.
HOW CAN I PAY FOR TRANSPORT?
We accept all types of payment i.e. cash, bank transfer.
DO YOU ALSO ARRANGE RELOCATIONS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION?
Unfortunately not.
CZY WYSTAWIAJĄ PAŃSTWO FAKTURY VAT I VAT EU?
Yes, we make invoices for companies from the Netherlands, companies outside the Netherlands and for private individuals. After unloading, we will send the invoice by e-mail.
